At First United Methodist Church, our vision is to be a church that connects people to the love of God. We work towards that by serving others, living generously, and searching for new ways to live out what we believe in real, practical ways in everyday life. Our Council meetings are usually the first Tuesday of every month in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM and are open meetings.

Rev. Mak Percival

Pastor

Mak Percival has faithfully worked in the UMC for over seventeen years and is a third generation United Methodist pastor. She has served in various Houston suburbs, the Golden Triangle area, and most recently at Parkway UMC in Sugar Land for the last eight years.

Mak brings a dynamic energy to both the pulpit and to people. Although she thoroughly enjoys preaching the Word of God, she also has a passion for relational ministry and strives to make genuine connections with people. Expect to see her, Eric (husband), and Hezekiah (son) at community gatherings, sports events, recitals, performances, graduations, and more!
